Discover the Cave Cueva de Las Palomas

In 1949 the ashes of the San Juan volcano buried parts of the best agriculture land in the area. It generated an extend land in which an exceptional volcanic tube was formed. This tube is nearly 500 m long, more or less 3 m wide and between 1 and 6 m high.

Its scientific interest consists mostly in the geological formations and its biological importance due to the adapted fauna found in the underground life.
