Guided Walk in the Amazing Anaga Mountains
The Anaga Mountains occupy a large section of the north-east part of Tenerife and consists of coastline, ravines, laurel forests and villages that are so remote it is amazing that anyone actually lives in them. This whole area is a protected natural landscape, it is breathtakingly beautiful and full of twists and turns that will delight and amaze. Our walk is a great introduction to the area and its outstanding natural beauty.
Anaga Rural Park:
Anaga Rural Park is one of the most representative natural areas of the Canary Islands. This space covers a wild and vast territory of about 14.500 hectares, dotted with traditional villages and a complex system of terraces, which coexist with a unique flora and fauna. All this you find on the terrain of steep slopes, where erosion processes have created deep valleys between peaks and steep wooded rocks, giving the space it’s great value and eco-cultural landscape.
