The Canyonland of La Gomera
Today, follow us through the canyonland of La Gomera, past palm trees, agaves, fig trees, and almond trees up to the island's highest village, Igualero, and further on to the ancient cult mountain of the Gomeros: La Fortaleza. On the way there, we'll hike along a bizarre, almost alpine mountain landscape, whose steep slopes will impress us and reveal the island's unique structure. After a snack, we'll continue along the impressive path toward La Fortaleza, our destination for today. Depending on the weather, we'll climb it. At the end of the tour, we'll refresh ourselves at a bar.
