Hike the Rainforest
Into the green heart of the island
Over the highest point of the island to the Green Heart! After the climb, fantastic views await us from Pico del Garajonay, from where we then descend into the national park. On the botanically guided hike, we learn about the connections between mosses, lichens, and trees in this unique cloud forest, a World Heritage Site. Passing the island's most famous pilgrimage chapel, we reach the Green Heart of La Gomera, stopping briefly at both locations. After a short climb, the bus awaits us at the end of the hike (no refreshment stops available).
