Hike The Fairytale Forest
Through the laurel forest of La Gomera
We begin our hike today in Arure. After a short time, we reach the oldest part of the laurel forest. Surrounded by wisps of mist, we walk past moss-covered and lichen-covered trees to the picnic area in the heart of the forest. We continue our hike through this mystical part of the forest until we once again emerge into the warming light of the sun. The last few steps take us to the pottery village of El Cercado, where we round off the hike with Canarian dishes at a local restaurant.
